Orlando International Airport has been named second-best large airport in the world in terms of customer service in a new survey of travelers conducted by J.D. Power and Associates.

Hong Kong International was No. 1.

The survey, which asked about 76 airports around the world, queried travelers to rate airports based on check-in, security screening, food and retail offerings and gate areas.

The survey is based on responses from more than 9,000 people who traveled between October 2003 and November 2004. J.D. Power surveyed people in six languages.

Meanwhile, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has opened a second retail store at Orlando International Airport.

At 1,800 square feet, the store in the airport's "A" side is twice as large as the first outlet, which opened in June 2003.

Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando also have two stores each at the airport.

I totally agree with the results of the survey.
MCO is in my opinion one of the best airports in the World to wander around. Somehow there does not seem to be the usual hustle and bustle found in many of the other international airports and the wide range of shops and eateries are great for passing the time whilst waiting for your flight.
