My friends and I are thinking about going to Prime Time Cafe while we are on our trip. Does anyone know if there is a decent variety of vegetarian food to choose from there? Also , one of my friends hates being put on the spot, will the waiters not mess with him if we told them ahead of time or soemthing. The rest of us really want to do this( I love being the center of attention) but we would feel really bad if they humiliated him!!

For starters they waiters don't intentionally humiliate anyone. Now, as far as vegetarian, Disney will work with you at almost every restaurant to discuss dietary needs and Prime Time is no exception. Please make sure when you make the PS that you let them know that at least one person in your party is a vegetarian. I wouldn't be surprised if the Chef came out to talk to that person.

I am like your friend who does not enjoy the sort of banter and interaction that goes on at Prime Time Cafe. It makes me far too uncomfortable to willingly subject myself to it, let alone in a place where I am supposed to be eating.

I would not expect your friend to be comfortable at this restaurant, especially if the other diners at the same table were interacting in the "Prime Time" way.

You may choose to opt out of this restaurant, or at least allow your friend to.

Ok, I think we just won't bother then, I don't want to upset him. It wasn't something that we really wanted to do we will just skip it, Thanks.

They also serve a vegetarian stuffed pepper . I frequent the 50's Prime Time Cafe . I've probably been there more times than I can count on both hands to visit my special Auntie Claire . It's a great restaurant , you'll love it .

Even though they don't intentionally humiliate anyone it's a hard place to go for someone a bit more reserved or bashful. Now, our one & only experience there would have been perfect for your friend as no one did anything to us & we were hoping they would! So there are definitly some waiters/waitresses there that do not do the big loud put on the spot. If you are just dying to eat there I would call ahead & ask this question. calling them directly if possible.
As far as the vegetarian thing I don't know about adult meals. My 11 year old is a veggie & we can always find her non-meat items such as salads, baked potatos, grilled cheese, etc.
