I was just wondering if anyone could share their ASMo experience. I think we will be requesting the Toy Story section. Is this a good area, is it far from the bus stops and food court? How far is it from the pool?

We fancied Toy Story but were actually in Dalmations

If you look at Pongos lifted paw, we were in the room just underneath it, on 1st floor in room 1864. Near the stairs, but not noisy at all. Very near the food court, and busses.

This room was perfect. This picture was taken just next to the Fantasia pool, near the exit from the food court.

As far as Toy Story is concerned, it's the same location, but you turn left rather than right out of the food court.

If you want to know anything at all about ASmo, please ask, I'd be happy to answer any questions.

Have stayed here 3 times now and every time in the mighty ducks. This is the furthest of the resorts but does have its own pool which is a lot quieter than the others. But it is near to the music's bus stop and food court.
The nearest for the ASMo's would be Toy Story , Fantasia or Dalmations but you have not got far to go from any, all are great. Feel free to fire any questions you want, we are all only too willing to help.

I've stayed in love bug, dalmations, fantasia and mighty ducks and everywhere was great. There's a really great disney feel to ASM.

Mighty ducks theming didn't impress me at all (I had no idea at the time what mighty ducks was) AND I didn't realise it was closer to music's bus stop (DOH) but it was really quiet, had its own pool and laundry room and kept me out of the way of the awful cheerleaders that infested the resort at the time. Sooooooo if you fancy a bit of peace and quiet it may be worth a look.

Thanks, I think we will be requesting either Toy Story or Dalmations b/c we don't want to pay the extra $10 per night to stay in Fantasia. When should we request where we want to be placed, we will be there in June.

I wouldn't pay the extra $10 to stay in Fantasia either. It just seems like it would be loud there. The pool area is loud.

We stayed in the Dalmations bldg and were very close to the food court and bus stops. It was an ideal location.

Thanks everyone for your info. We aren't worried to much about privacy, as, long as it is not to unbearbly loud. I'm not sure if I should request Toy Story or Dalmations, they both look so cute!

There are four of us going, so I will ask them what they would prefer. I don't care where we stay, as long as it is in either Toy Story or Dalmations.

As far as room requests go, fax three days before arrival. However we did this, and there was no record of it on their syatem.

I had asked for a room which wasn't on the ground floor......guess where we were? :D When I told the CM my request they moved us to a new room right away. I was really impressed as it was the height of the summer and they were really busy. So even if your fax doesn't get through, mention your request and they will do everything they can to help you.

You can do (our request for a non smoking room that we told our travel agesnt at the time of booking was noted), can't hurt to do both :)
