poppins problems

has anyone purchased the new dvd mary poppins. I have 2 copies and both freeze for a moment in the same exact spot. Just want to know if anyone else has this problem. It is during the I love to laugh scene. When Jane & Michael go up to the ceiling it freezes for just a moment.

Your DVD player may have a certain glitch at a certain time.
Try them on someone elses. If they work then it's a manufacturing error.
I know. It only happens with Mary. But discs are made with different quality.
They may be cheap discs that mess up on your machine.

If it happens on both copies and you can't see any other problems on the disk, it's likely to be your player swapping to read the rest of the film on the second layer of the disk. Perfectly normal but some films seem to pause longer than others on some players.
