View Full Version : Lilo and Stitch "Ride?"

I've heard many comments about this new attraction, but after seeing a clip from it on television a question popped into my mind. I was never on the ride that was there previous to Lilo and Stitch, but is it a ride or a show? When I say show I mean do you actually move? Any additional info. would be greatly appreciated.

For starters there is NO Lilo and Stich ride. There is a Stich attraction which has taken the place of Alien Encounter. You are sitting in chairs with a harness on so that the special effects can take place, inside of a mostly dark room.

Excusssseee me...sorry for the misunderstanding. So you don't move...it's not really a ride (as in moving)???

Nope, it doesn't move. But when it was the Extraterrorestrial I loved it! You're strapped into this seat and it gets all dark, the monster escapes and you can feel it touching your head, breathing down your neck...eeeewwww!!!

Now I don't feel so bad about missing this show. The girls REFUSED to go in the line at all.

Probably a good thing Bev. I know they were making it more kid friendly but a good part of it is still in total darkness which was a huge issue with the kids

I know that AE got really dark a few times and little kids screaming their heads off. Sort of intensified the whole terror feeling. :lol: I felt bad for the kids, but it was the parents I'd get upset with.

Oh well, there's always Haunted Mansion.

I thought AE was completly stupid. Stitch is only marginally better. Kids were still screaming though. It's a waste of space.

It would be nicer to put something else in there.

I still like Buzz Lightyear though, always will, hahaha.
