:) Hi! I am new and a 1st time to Disney with the kids 2/8 - 2/11. We want to stay at the Wilderness Lodge in Disney, but every time I call and ask for the best rate it is $199 for each night. Does anyone know of any promtional codes or such or should I wait it out for the best rate? I did sign up for the disney newsletter, but haven't received any codes yet. Any advice for a newbie?

We are flying in and aren't residents of FL.

Right now the rack rate is the only thing available for February unless you have an annual pass, are a florida resident or a member of AAA.

Thank you for the fast reply! Do they usually put on promotions as the day gets closer? Maybe I will get a code emailed to me.

Hi stayathomemom2,
they normally have discounts rates out about 3 months out. I'm not really sure how it works, but if you find a discount, they're wonderful to have. Good luck!

The codes for February are all probably expired now. I think they expired sometime in December??

Can someone please tell me about the Disney Club Card? From what I read, it says it costs $39.99 for a yearly membership. Does this save me $$ off my stay (Wilderness Lodge)? So far, still I have $199 nightly rate at the Lodge and I have to give them my credit card by the 19th of January to hold it. I am still hoping for a better deal. Maybe this card is the answer? Any comments?

Disney Club card is no longer active. I'm still waiting for the replacement program, if they even are going to have one...I'm so bummed about them stopping this Club. I saved a lot of money!

You may want to call and ask them if they have any AP rates. If so and it is a good savings over the $!99 then you may want to consider purchasing 1 AP for your group.
