Can you watch these fireworks from the bridge at the train station by the entrance? Would this be a good view and would they let you stand up there to film it on the camcorder?

Hmm..I am kind of unsure. I do kind of remember people sitting up on a balcony by the train where they had tables and chairs? it may have been my imagination though.

Good luck finding out though. I typically watch it by the entrence, that way there's a quick escape to get to the busses, because that's when everyone leaves.

Not sure what "bridge" you mean. If you're referring to the upper level of the train station, yes, that's a good view, and for sure you can video from there.

However, the lights are left on at that end of Main Street and we found this to be something of a distraction.

So where would you say that the best place is to watch? Bearing in mind that I have never been to WDW bofore it could be a bit if a challange describing where to view. :rotfl:

sure you can watch from there! you need to get there a bit early though and be aware that people REALLY setup camp up there and they try and take over the whole front often. It does offer a good view though.

Actually though, it's kinda nicer to watch it from anywhere along main street.. I usually like to watch it from the central square by the exit so a) I can see the fireworks above the castle as theyre supposed to be seen and b) I can get out afterwards :)

as long as you can see the castle you will be able to see the fireworks, best is tho for filming, from a distance otherwise you will be moving the camera all over the place and wont be able to see the whole show, it will spoil it, trust me i know :(

yes we went last year and got too close to the castle and had the same problem, you dont get the whole show on the camera at all.

We found watching it at the top of main street best as we could see all the images that were shone on the castle as well as all the fireworks. You also get a good view of tinkerbell from there. But as long as you can see the castle you will get a magical experience.

When we saw it, we were up where you catch the train. What a wonderful view. :D

First time we watched Wishes was from in front of the castle on New Years Eve.
Second time we watched Wishes, I wanted to camcorder the whole thing - we stood in the centre of the road on Main Street about half way down and we caught all of the fireworks and the castle.

For anyone that is looking for a place to view the fireworks, but not be in the hustle of leaving, enjoy a nice dinner at one of the many restaurants at the Contemporary Resort, then go to the level that Chef Mickey's is on and walk out to the end of the floor to the doors onto the balcony. Stand toward the left side so the Monorail track doesn't obscure your view. They play the music from Wishes over the speakers. When I was there in May and July of last year, there was not more than 20 people out there.

Saw it one time. When you stand in front of the castle, there is a bridge to your right that goes to Tomorrowland. Just as you get to the bridge on the left is a bench, and 'pull off' area, like a little rounded part on the path. We stood there and had a 'decent' view of the show, and Tink flew overhead. Don't know about camcording it, can't remember if a bit of the show was cut off since we were so close to the castle BUT we didn't have anyone standing next to or near us, so that was nice (lots of elbow room).
