During our summer 2006 visit to WDW, we're hoping to dine at V & A chef's table one evening and were wondering are you allowed to use a camera and a video camera there? We'd love to capture the moment for memories! :ears:

I know you can photograph the inside of the restaurant proper. I would hope (for the price you pay) that you could get some photos of the chef's table. Maybe not the cooking team in action (dangerous? flash and all that?) but at least the plates of food they put before you?
Clearly, I don't know for certain. I'd check directly with the restaurant to be certain. The kitchen belongs to the Chef, and that person will make the rules.

My DW and I were at the Chef`s Table a couple of years ago and yes, you can definately photograph whatever you like in the restaurant...in fact "our" chefs actually encouraged you to do so.

Same for us! As long as we didn't step past the railing into the kitchen area itself, we could take all the photos we wanted. The kitchen area is small and pretty crowded. It wouldn't be safe, or wise, to be in that area anyway.
But taking photos is encouraged! Then you can post them here like I did!

Also, exclusive to the Chefs Table is that I was told that if I wanted to remove my jacket then that would be ok as it can sometimes get a bit warm near to the kitchen.
I declined however...gotta keep up appearances!

I love it when Chef Hunnel comes to the table and shares a glass of champagne with you! He is the NICEST man! He can cook for me any day!
