Firstly an apology . . .

I'm pretty sure that the questions I am about to ask will already have been answered somewhere on here, but this is such a popular forum and there are so many threads that it would probably take me from now until my holiday to trawl through them to find what I want.

I hope no-one objects to me asking the questions here.

Ok, I'll give it a whirl . . .

I'm not sure exactly which park tickets I wish to purchase yet, but is the recommendation to buy in the UK before I go or wait until I get to Florida and then obtain them? Someone told me that I should wait until I get over the pond because there are bargains to be had where people have sold unused tickets back to the parks. Is this true?

Also, if I decide to buy before I go where is the best place to get them from? & what's the latest I should leave it before buying - bearing in mind that I fly on the 19th February.

I'm sure there was something else, but it eludes me at this time.

Many thanks in advance,

Paul.

We have two ticket brokers as sponsors of this site - one is in the US and the other in the UK. As far as bargains for tickets sold back to the parks, I have never heard such a thing. I don't think that is possible. They may have been talking about the "scalpers" (as I like to call them) so sell you tickets. Do not buy from these people because there is guarantee your buying what you think you are.

With the great exchange rate at present, buying here in the UK would be to your advantage.

we just bought all our tickets from Orlando Ticket Deals recommended by this very site. I don't know which ones your after, but they have them all inc Discovery Cove.

There are 4 adult (2 over 10's) and one kid. We got the 7 day ultimates (for the price of the five day), the 4 park flexi and discovery Cove swim all for £1725 I think it was.

This was the cheapest we found. We ordered them just before new year and got them today. (The only reason they took this long is they were waiting on the new type tickets coming from Disney before dispatching). They do however send them royal Mail Special Delivery.

Hope this helps

Donna

Omar at Mapleleaf is still selling some Hoppers.

I always buy my tickets from Mapleleaf in the US. The exchange rate is good right now so it is to our advantage here in the UK. Mapleleaf will ship to the UK or deliver to your hotel in Orlando or you can pick them up from his office. His prices all include tax. What you see is what you pay plus any shipping/hotel delivery cost.

If I've had them sent to me it's usually taken about 5/7days. I've also had them waiting for me at my hotel.

We're getting our tickets from Attraction Tickets Direct on the internet. The 5 park Orlando flexi ticket is £113 per adult, Discovery Cove is £128 (inc dolphin swim - that's for November). I thought that was quite a good deal?

Last year we bought ours from Keith Prowse, I have again checked his ticket prices then checked the site's sponser. They were just over £200 cheaper than Keith Prowse. I would recomend you buy from the sponser site.

Folks,

Amongst other things for our holiday we're considering a 4 or 5 park Flexticket for Universal, IOA, Seaworld, etc.

These tickets are marketed as '14 days unlimited access' but do they do exactly what they say on the tin, or are there items of 'small print' that I need to be aware of? Any potential pitfalls of opting for this kind of ticket?

Thank you,

Paul.

Sorry to be a pain folks...

Does the lack of response (it's sooo unlike this forum) mean...

a) It was a stupid question?
b) That there are no pitfalls when buying this kind of ticket?

I just need to know if there's any small print regarding the 'unlimited 14 day access' on these tickets?

I hate to be pushy, but we go on the 19th February and I'm real keen to try to get things sorted soon.

Thanks very much,

Paul.

No pitfalls whatsoever that I am aware of. We go on the 5th Feb and opted for the 4 park flexiticket (We get Busch gdns with the discovery cove ticket), which gives us 14 consecutive days access to the universal parks, seaworld and wet & wild.

Hello Donna.

Thanks for your reply.

How have you managed to get Busch Gardens on a 4 park ticket? I was under the impression that Busch was only included on the 5 park ones. Tell me more?

You go on the 5th Feb? Have you been before? Are you getting excited? I'm still a little concerned about the weather and I don't go until 14 days after you. How long are you going for? Will you be back in time to let me know whether to pack my thermals?

Thanks,

Paul.

I puchased all my tickets from a uk based company Mercury Travel, they have a web site and a phone number i paid £732.00 that was for two adults, two children under 9, 5 day hopper plus and two day two park universal tickets.

That was back in January last year and we went on christmas day for two weeks, Discovery cove i booked through virgin also with the busch gardens and seaworld thrown in, and paid £153.00 swim and £98.00 non swim so the price quoted by one of the previous threads was a good price, Discovery Cove is a MUST fantastic place one day just was long enough for me!!!

Have a great time

Thanks for the replies everyone.

You've just about made up my mind for me regarding the 5 park flexticket. The only thing left to do now is find the best deal.

Maple are doing them for £110 (adult) & £90 (kids) - how does this compare to other prices out there?
