Ice cream social

Off to Florida end of March, while we are out there our middle daughter will celebrate her 9th birthday.I've read in "a brits guide to orlado" that they do an ice cream social in the Garden Grill at Epcot, which is a 'good option for shy children' (she's not like her two sisters!) rather than a character breakfast.
Can anybody tell me how would I got about booking this, and has anybody else out there been to an ice cream social?

You book it just like any other PS by calling 407-WDW-DINE. I've done it before (on my birthday) and loved it. I don't know about being good for a shy person as I was pulled up and had "Happy Birthday" sung to me by a bunch of people. Doesn't phase me as I LOVE being the center of attention :D

The ice cream was really good and the character interaction was awesome.
