Hi we have now decided to go back to ASMo resort (we were going to try Wyndham resort and spa) -are we allowed to go to other resorts for the evening -eg boardwalk for the entertainment and resturants? will i have to ps for any of the good resturants?
Also, is there a transportation centre at downtown disney? so that we can get the lynx bus to take us to idrive?:wiggle: Is there a particular point we can get dropped off via cab or bus on idrive that we will be in the centre of the action????

You can visit any of the resorts - for dining or just to look around!
I always advise making a PS - just to be sure you get to dine where and when you want.

You can explore the resorts. :) Just cannot swim at them.

I would always make a PS. It is easier to cancel a PS you don't want than turn up somewhere you really want to eat, and not be able to.
ASmo is great by the way, we loved it! PM me if you have any questions!

Getting to the different resorts is possible, we did do it without having a car. But it can also be very time consuming. We went from ASM to Downtown Disney and then on return we did the same in reverse.

You could take a cab from DTD to the Rosen Hotels. That would put you in the "upper" end of I-Drive. You could stroll "down" from there, or make excellent use of the I-Trolley.
The Rosen Hotels are at the opposite end of I-Drive from the Beltz outlets, just to give you a point of reference.
If you wanted to use the LYNX bus system, you'd have to go to TTC and pick up the bus there, I believe. But I've never used LYNX so I'm not certain what the best route would be.
You may be able to grab a LYNX bus from Crossroads or some other hotel on Hotel Plaza Blvd. Again, I'm not familiar with their routes, so I don't really know. You could check their website, www.golynx.com to see what the options are.

If you go to the Wilderness Lodge you can go on the mini speed boats on the lagoon which is soooo cool, also as you will probably take some swimwear for this, It is easy to stop for a swim in the swimming pool, BUT OF COURSE YOU CANNOT DO THIS
