when we went to Ecopt a few days ago. AT&T pulled out. There was no stuff to do after you got of the the ride.

Yeah they pulled their sponsorship quite some time ago now :( It's all very sad IMHO. Used to be a lot to see and do when you got off spaceship earth and yet Disney didn't replace it with anything :(

There are rumours, as there have been for ages, that something new is being designed for inside spaceship earth. One of the scary (PLEASE dont let it be so) rumours is that of an inside roller coaster type thing :(( NOOOOOOO :(

Yeah i noticed that too when I got off. Depressing, I liked steping on the floor plastic and looking down. :(

It does look a bit odd now, especially with the AT and T label covered up as you decend the ride........and as for a new ride.....noooooooo!

Eh, they've been saying FOR YEARS that they were going to shut it down.

I do think, though, they need to refurbish it.

It would be a shame to shut it down. The reason people go to ecpot is to see the big ball :lol:
i love it. i make it a point to go on spaceship earth at least 2 or more time i go. Dont know y, but i like it :lol: It does need an update though.

They cant get rid of spaceship earth. It is one of the coolest rides in a silly way, its just, whats the word, nice. Suppose like most things at EPCOT.

went on it this time first time in years and it was so so dated really needs very much updating

but as they are getting rid of carousel of progress nothing is sacred
