i used to like to be near the food court at CBR but
this year we stayed at Barbados and it was really quiet the pool was smashing and quiet
as for the view i have never booked more than a standard view but have always been upgraded to pool view , i think if you are there at a fairly quiet time they are happy to help its worth asking !

We stayed at Aruba which was just opposite the island with the food hall etc on and slightly to the left. The bus stop was right outside and although we had a room that looked out over the carpark, we never really looked outta the window so it didnt matter. The 6 min slow walk onto the island and the pool was lovely - over the little bridge and we were there. It also meant that we heard the music from the live band but it didnt encroach on our peace and quiet when we swam in the small pool alongside our building.

We stayed at Jamaica. Loved it. The bus stop was not far from our room and it was the first stop. A nice stroll to the food court, like windbag said.
I felt that we were on vacation and I wasn't going to be in a hurry up mode.
The resort is very nice. And with it being so big, you almost felt like you were there alone. We very seldom ran into alot of people. I would say, save your money on something else.

Jamaica is my favorite to stay in. It is close to the bus stops. It is usually the last to get picked up and the first to get dropped off. That is nice because you don't have to wast time traveling through the resort and picking up other people at the different "islands". It's also a very short, nice walk to the food court and main pool. I highly recommend Jamaica.

We stayed in Aruba and would prefer Aruba or Jamaica if we were to stay there again.

My favorite by far is Trinidad North. Martinique is a close second though.

Hi, we just stayed at CBR in Jan, 05. Stayed in Trinidad North. Bad experience. Lots of mold and dirt. Paid extra for location. Not worth it. Rooms,we had 2, changed 3 times. All moldy but with less dirt in the last set. Really check your rooms. If any allergies or mold sensitivities it can ruin your vacation. Two asthmatic kids, one asthmatic grandmother and 1 daughter with bronchitis. Everyone was congested, exhausted and on meds. CHECK YOUR ROOMS, PLEASE. They were not very helpful or concerned with our plight. 8th trip in 11 years turned out to be very disappointing.CBR is very large. They even have internal transportation. The desk clerk never mentioned that and first night I walked to and from Trinidad North to lobby. Not undoable but time consuming.
