what supplies do I need?

We are going to BWV's next week and it is our first time staying in a one bedroom. I know they provided a small bottle of dish detergent, but do they provide any laundry detergent? If so was it for just one load or possibly could it be for 2. I know I will only do one or two (if any ) loads of wash and don't feel like dragging detergent with me.

They will give you dishwashing powder and dishwashing liquid. If you run out, call them.

They will give you a tiny box of Tide. I really is only good for one load. They will not give you extras, but you can purchase it at the little store.

There are washing powder tablets now, that you can get at many grocery stores. They are compressed tablets and wonderful to travel with if you want.

You will NOT get salt and pepper. Bring some if you want it.

You will need round coffee filters and coffee if you drink it, tea bags if you want. There is one day's supply of coffe with minimal amounts of sugar, that nasty artificial sweetner in the pink packet and that powdered coffee creamer. You may want to bring your own of those things.

You will probably want something like zip top bags or plastic film wrap for any leftovers you may have.

There will be the little soaps and shampoo in the villa.

You will only get your supplies replenished if you are there for four (on the fourth day) or more days (then on the eighth and so on).

That helps alot. Thanks. I have seen other people mention those washing powder tablets, but have been unable to find them. That's what made me post... today I saw dishwashing tablets made by Method, and got excited thinking I would find the laundry ones. No luck.
We actually spend 2 nights at AKL and then move over to BWV which I keep forgetting, so we probably will stop at a grocery store for breakfasty stuff. Thanks again for the input. I would have never thought of salt and pepper!!! (and I would have missed them)

The tablets can be tricky to find. I think the last time I saw them it was in Publix on west 192 (the one quite close to AKL, actually!) near Orange Lake.

That particular Publix has a wide selection of items, as they cater heavily to the visitors.

It's easily reached by taking a right at the intersection just as you leave AKL. You will be on Sherberth Rd. Take Sherberth until it almost intersects 192. Just beofre (at the Holiday Inn) there will be a right on Black Lake Rd. Take that and follow it (you will be running parallel to 192 but with much less traffic) until it intersects 192. Take a right on 192 west and the Publix will be just down the road on the right.

All told it's about a ten minute ride, tops.
