which one would you recommend for V-Day? which one has better food? I hear you can see the fireworks at MK from the C Grill? Do you need a window table?
thanks for your input...

Well, if given the choice, I'd take the California Grill. Wonderful food there! And, yes, you can see the fireworks from there. We had a table by the window, but I'm not sure if others could see.
Which has the better food? Depends on what you like. They serve totally different styles of food. Alfredo's, as you might imagine, serves Italian. California Grill has a more "eclectic" menu.
Oh, if you scroll to the top of your screen you'll find a link to the menus on this site. There you will find recent menus for both Alfredo's and the California Grill.

We celebrated our 4th anniversary at California Grill and had a great time! The food was wonderful. We did not have a window see, but we're still able to see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. They dim the lights and with the walls of windows, everyone can see. Very romantic, but fun at the same time. Highly recommend it!

Valentine's Day implies the desire for a bit of a romantic setting? The only thing romantic about Alfredo's where you sit nearly on top of the other diners is leaving. Their food is not remarkable.
California Grill is the far, far better choice for food quality, service and location.

We ate dinner at CG and lunch at Alfredos (not on the same day! :hehe: ). We all agreed we would not be rushing back to Alfredo's :( CG on the other hand is now on our 'must do' every trip! :D If you do not get a window seat, go out to the 2nd balcony after the elevators, turn left past the restrooms and out through that door. The 1st balcony (straight off the restaurant) gets very crowded. If you tell your server you intend to watch the fireworks, they will hold off bringing your meals until you return.

How do you get to the Califonia Grill? Would be quite nice to have a meal there after we have got married, would I have to get the monorail there in my wedding dress?!

California Grill is in the Contemporary Resort. You could drive directly to it, or take a monorail from TTC, or one of the other monorail resorts.
