Which hotel???

Ok. My mom is making me decide which hotel i want to stay at. Well my choices are The French Quarters at Port Orleans, Wilderness Lodge, Carribean Beach, or Animal Kingdom Lodge. I have already stayed at Wilderness Lodge, my mom has stayed at animal kingdom lodge, and my first time we stayed at whatever port orleans was before. So i want to go back to Wilderness Lodge and my mom is like OMG! Anyways The french quarters at port orleans looks really boring, Carribean Beach looks pretty but ive never seen it in person, and Animal kingdom lodge looks cool but i dont know. So which one should i choose?I'm confused -Lol- :confused: :wacko: :( :D

I haven't stayed at any of the resorts you mentioned- but if I were to choose it would probably be AKL.

Tough call, but since you've not ever been at AKL, I pick there. It is nearly identical to WL in layout (the same overall design) just with a wonderful African continent theme.

The animal views are a bonus as are the wonderful CMs who are visiting from different African Countries.

Go for it! You'll never know until you try it!

And anyway, it's not like they are going to close WL or something, nor is this going to be your last visit!

So then, AKL gets my vote! :D

We stayed a POFQ this last visit and i wouldnt think twice about staying there again :clap: very nice resort, peaceful and serene but theres still loads to do nearby. Id love to try AKL too some time, had a look around when we were there for breakfast at Boma's and it really looks something :)

Oh and if given a chance to stay at the AKL, I wouldn't even hesitate for a second to stay there. Go for it Alysia !!!!!!

I hate to say it, but i'm leaning towards French Quarter. There's a boat to Downtown Disney (loads of fun,) the game room is fairly new, and it's got a fun pool, and it's kind of in the thick of things with your travel plans.

Caribbean Beach is really pretty, and the music a lot of fun. I wonder about the parking there... it always seems a bit further to me than Port Orleans, however, that might just be an illusion.

My second choice would be Wilderness Lodge, in a woods view room, with a distant view of the Magic Kingdom for peace and quiet and excellent location.

I think your Mom would like AKL, but you might find that boring and far removed. Unless watching the animals is a huge draw for you, and you do want that feeling of being tucked away. Actually, if you want that 'tucked away' feeling, you can always find a staircase to hide under... LOL!

I've been to AKL and loved it. Also loved WL. Carribean Beach is not a place I have ever desired to stay......

DS seemed to want to stay at CBR this time, but I really wanted Riverside because of the trundle beds (which are no longer a surcharge, btw) I really really really wanted to stay there a while ago. I *loved* Castaway Cay and CBR kind of reminds me of that. On CC, friendly calypso music plays while the warm breezes gently teases your hair, and I can just imagine myself there in a heartbeat.
