I've posted a few Magical moments we've had with CM's in my trip reports.
The fun stuff they did on my birthday, the tram joke, Jacks nurse when his allergy flared up.......
What are some of your best CM stories?

There's been so many!
The first one was on our very first trip to WDW. the kids were 12, 8, & 6. We'd had the most wonderful time, except on the last day. the girls had gotten these souviner cups with princesses on them and lids and straws, and belt clips to hold the cups in.
Kelli (the 6 year old) lost hers towards the end of the last day (closing of course) and there was nothing we could do. She cried most of the way home, and her sister felt so bad for her, that she offered to share her cup. It wasn't the same.
the day we got home, I called WDW Guest Relations and told them the story and I told the CM that I would pay for the cup and the shipping and anything else just to replace that cup. I left all my information with her, and 2 weeks later Kelli had her replacement cup...at no charge to me. I wrote a super nice letter to that CM.

I've got tons of stories I am sure.
Alysia bought a $25 fitted t-shirt at one of the shops near the entrance to World Showcase. We took the boat over to the Boardwalk. Later that night, she realizes she didn't have the shirt with her. We looked everywhere. I called Guest Services and Epcot, no one had turned it in. We went back to the store to see if anyone had turned it in there. Nope. The CM took the receipt and said she'd be right back. She gave Alysia another t-shirt. It made her day :)

One of the funniest memories I have occurred several years ago when my DW and I had dinner at the Californian Grille.
After dinner, we went outside and stood by the steps leading down..I think it is the fire escape.
After a while we heard some people singing "New York, New York" nearby and when we looked down the flight of stairs we saw Goofy and Chip [I think] singing and dancing away.
Jokingly, I shouted to them "Hey, I never realised that you guys could talk!"
Their exit at this stage, having been "spotted", was up to Olympic standards!

My favourite was at Paris, Alec and Callie were waiting to load onto IASW so the next boat pulls up and everyone starts to get in and the CM at the control shouts 'everybody out!' they all look at him and get out and he says 'this boat is just for the little Princess' puts Alec and Callie back in the front of the boat and sends them off alone! Luckily everyone thought it was cute because the next boat was ready! :D

During our May trip, we went to Chef Mickey's for breakfast before heading to Magic Kingdom. When we got to MK, we realized we had forgotten Liam's hat the restaurant. I went to guest relations and asked if I could use the phone to call the restaurant and see if they found it. They did and I told them I'd go back for it later. The CM at guest relations said he wouldn't want the baby to get a sunburn and wanted to save us some time. He wrote us a voucher and told us to go to the "Chappeau" across the way and pick out any hat we wanted for him - on the house!! It was soo sweet and completely unnecessary as we would of bought him one anyway!

Ooooh another one. Lois wanted one of those leather bracelets they put your name on so while we were waiting for it to be engraved, we were chatting to the CM (in the Canada pavillion) and she asked Lois how old she was. Lois said 'I was 7 yesterday' and she wished her a HB and gave her the bracelet free. :D It really made her day!

When i was there for 3 months stay at Fort Wilderness Campground, we had a CM named Paul. We still have pictures of him.
He used to come a lot to our site, since we were there for so long. He found our radio, when it was stolen from our picnic table, it was in the Girl's bathroom.
He also brought us Dunkin Doughnuts, and layed them on the table the one morning, and when we got up they were there, but he wasn't.
It was a great vacation. He was a nice guy, and my brother and I looked up to him, haha. :)

This thread reminded me that I read somewhere (can't remember where for the life of me) that there are coupons or cards or something you can get to hand out to cast members who go above and beyond. Is anyone familiar with them? I definitely would like to make up something ahead of time to take with me on our next trip (whenever that may be). You always come across someone who goes out of their way for you!

Yep, and that was in 92, I also stayed at Fort Wilderness for 3 months in 89.
I spent only about 15 and a half years in PA and 1 year and a half in Florida.
I practically grew up in Disney world. :) That is probably why I like it there so much.

well I dont have any brilliant stories with CM's. I got my coat bak when I left it in the DL hotel. But other than that, nothing truely magicial. more the non cast people we met. Talking about there little 1 year old meeting Cinerella. So sweet
But the stories I read. There were ones in the winter Disney Magazine. It was so nice. Made me cry that there are still people that nice in the world.

We have met a lot of good CM's over the years. DS has applied to become one, hopefully this Summer. In his telephone interview he said he wanted to be a CM because he wanted to make other peoples Disney experience as special as the ones he has had. He puts this down to the CM's he has met who always seem to go the extra mile no matter what time of day or night. DS passed the telephone interview and is now waiting on the date for a face to face interview in London sometime in February. Lets hope he gets through as that will give us a great excuse to visit WDW this year

Oh wow Keith! If your DS keeps up with the correct answers he'll be a CM soon! I loved his answer on why he wanted to be a CM. When I interviewed to be a TDS CM I had 3 interviews and they checked my references! My friends said that the questions they asked were really indepth! Would Bev make a good Castmember. What makes Bev special to you. What will she bring to the company. etc etc etc.
It's so worth it if he makes it in!

I hope he does make it Bev, he has just come off the phone after a telephone interview with the Inland Revenue (Tax Office) nowhere near as exciting as WDW and very few happy customers I would guess. "You owe the Tax office £500 - have a nice day" doesn't have the same ring to it does it  :rotfl:

On our June trip my son was finally tall enough to ride TOT. The day we planned for MGM, TOT was out of service. DS was really disappointed. We decided to make PS for Fantasmic and go back to MGM on our last night. We got Fp's for a return time right before we had to be at the gate for fantasmic. When we got in line I asked a CM at the entrance which line was the FP return. We waited for like 25 minutes without moving and then someone clued me in that it was not the FP return line. I had to tell my son that we couldn't wait. When we left another CM was at the entrance. He asked why we were leaving and I explained that we didn't have time to wait and had been in the wrong line. He escorted me through the store and into the back entrance of the ride. We missed the lobby areas, but were able to get right on an elevator. DS was so excited and it was really nice of the CM.

One of my favorite stories is when I was on a solo trip--walking from my car to MGM studios entrance and the Green Army Men rolled up and sang Happy Birthday to me out in the parking lot. There was no one else around... It was just me and I was so stunned that I barely got my camera out to take a picture.
