Hey Everyone - Does anyone know whether the Magic Your Way Dining Package is sold on its own. I have already booked my hotel (Dolphin). The tickets are something I still need to buy. The dining package always seemed like a great deal but I assumed it had to part of an overall package. Help!!!!!!!!!!!

i just had the same thing happen. i wanted to add the dining package to a 3 night stay at the all star sports. I had to cancel the original reservation (made and cancelled through a 3rd party) and book direct. Because it was more than 5 days before the visit, there was no penalty for cancelling.

The dining package costs $35.00 a day for adults and $10.00 a day for kids 3-11. That includes tax and gratuity, and it can be used in all restaurants but the "signature" restaurants (there's only 14 of those) and the shows (like Hoop-de-Doo Review and the Polynesian luau).

I thought it was a sweet deal.

one more note- you have to buy the dining package for every night you are staying, but you can buy your park tickets as needed. I only need a 1 day pass this time (I'm spending the rest of the time with family) and they sold me the 1 day pass as part of the package.

With the new passes, you can actually get a 1 day park hopper pass, or a 1 day pass with the water park option. They have finally made it user friendly to buy tickets when you stay with them. Previously you could waste a lot of money by buying length-of-stay passes, if you arrived late in the day or left early in the day. And the prices are much better, and broken down so you understand what you are getting.

Thanks so much for your feeback. I just called Disney and the Dolphin is not included in the eligible group of hotels and the meal plan cannot be purchased separately as you said. Big bummer as I was hoping to save some $$$ on our meals - oh, well!

I wonder why the Dolphin is not included. I noticed that it is not included in the "Magic Express" Deal either. Since its one of the nicer and more popular resorts, you would think it would be included in all the plans.

The Dolphin, while on Disney property, is not a Disney-owned resort.Same for the Swan

I just booked my trip today. My travel agent told me that Disne has sent out a revised list of participating resturants. Two that we difinitly wanted to eat at, Alfredo's in Italy being one of them, required using two dinners for the one. For us, it wasn't worth it. They also took some of the restaurant's off the list.

Where can you see a list of the resturants that can be used on this plan?
