Hi there next i have booked with virgin for the first time, what airport do they fly into? last year i flew with mytravel and went into sanford which was a nice small airport and quite! also are they now fingerprinting you at imgration? Also i have to get a visa due to a speeding conviction 5 years ago, will i have to go through a different line and the same as everybody else??/:confused:

They fly into MCO which is much bigger than Sanford but I've always had a relatively painless experience going through there. Except for the security screening people. :rolleyes: And you get to go on a little monorail ride to get you in the mood for your trip. :D

Yes they are fingerprinting and photographing and people with visas go through the same lines as everyone else. :thumbs:

Oh MCO is McCoy, Orlando - it's the main airport in Orlando. Don't ask me who it's named after though. :rotfl:

The security people were fine until you get to the massive line to go through the x-ray machine. Then the lot that we got were just downright mean - barking orders at people left, right and centre. Luckily we only had to endure them for a few minutes. :shrug:

MCO used to be an Air Force Base. Most Air Force Bases are named in honor of the memory of fallen aviators and McCoy was no exception:
