I was wondering Is it possible to take your childs car seat on the plane so thay can sit in there? My little one cant sit up for too long even when being supported and as he will be 2 by the time we fly so im guessing he will be too old for the sky cots.

Who are you flying with? if it's Virgin they do special booster style seats for little ones. We had one for our daughter when we booked a seat for her at 20 months old. I would think others do similar things. A lady behind me on a Delta flight had her child in a car seat.

Hi Morgan8.

I'm flying with my 2 year old granddaughter this weekend and definitely am taking our car seat. The airlines actually encourage it, if you pay for the child's seat. (If the child doesn't pay, you can't use the car seat). Note: they do require that the car seat be aircraft approved, and if it is fairly new it will be. You will see a sticker on the side of the seat with the certifications.

We hopefully will be flying with BA? I would like to be able to take his car seat on board as you can pull it out so he's not sitting up.
