Super Bowl Champs Won't Be 'Going To Disney World'

The phrase "I'm going to Disney World" is synonymous with the Super Bowl.

But after 19 years, the Walt Disney Co. is not going to do the ad with the Super Bowl champions, even though the championship is being played in Jacksonville.

Company officials said they have other promotional campaigns they're focusing on right now, WESH NewsChannel 2 reported.

Disney said it may just be a temporary break because next season, ABC will broadcast the big game. ABC is owned by Disney.

A 30-second commercial during the Super Bowl costs $2.4 million.

The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the New England Patriots, the defending Super Bowl champions, on Sunday, Feb. 6.

I had NO idea that was a commercial. I just thought it was a catch phrase.

I'm going for the area I live in. It would be differnet if Pennsylvania would win something for once. We're nobody's. :(

Guess I don't need to take the day after the SuperBowl off to drive to Disney to see Tom Brady huh?
