I was wondering if anyone had stayed at the Sleep Inn and Suites right next door to Universal Studios?

Thanks :D

I've not been there. Is it on International Drive?
Are you going to Universal? I cannot recommend this enough. Stay onsite there. They have the front of the line access which is a wonderful feature. If you stay one night, you can actually benefit from FOTL for 2 days.

It's .25 miles from Universal. We're thinking of going for two days in July along with going to our fave place (WDW).

Staying onsite and tickets would be $745 and staying off site and tickets is only $340. Big difference.

Where did you get that price from? wow...that is a lot. I've never paid more than $99 for a 5 day ticket to Universal. Our room at Royal Pacific was $119 in 2003 and $139 in 2004.

That was two days at the hotel and two days for the parks from the Universal website. Hmmm, maybe I should check out expedia. But I'm pretty sure the rooms are 200 or a little more a night. It will be in July, I wonder if that makes a difference.

If you need any help finding a good rate, let me know. I'll be glad to help.

I could use the help. Expedia didn't have the days I wanted. I would like to stay onsite, the Royal one is fine, but seems outrageous in price. I checked again with the Universal website and the hotel is 244 a night, thats just plain nuts. Thanks :D

It might be too early to look for a good rate. Do you have AAA? The Entertainment book rate is usually pretty good (well worth buying the book-which you can usually get for $10).

What are your dates?

We should check in on July 7th and check out on the 9th. Just two nights. (Then off to disney for a little over a week). Thank you again

foreverducky you now have the Queen, the Ultimate Queen of Finding a Wicked Bargain on your side. If Johnie can't find it, it doesn't exist.

It's too early for a good discount. The lowest one I could find is $211 with an annual pass. You could get a Power Pass (for $119.95) but the 9th is one of the blackout days.

I'll put a sticky on my computer and keep looking and let you know. You've still got plenty of time :)
