Just got our Disney and Universal park tickets in. :D

A question or two - when do you sign them, now or when you first go to use them? And what about the kids tickets - I take it I just sign these?

Do you need to show your passport when you are going into the parks? We dont have the new style driving license, so passport is the only form of photo id we would have.

Thanks, I am a bit paranoid about doing the wrong thing or not being prepared and getting turned away at the park gates.

I have never had a Disney ticket that required a signature.

I have a Universal AP so my photo is on it but a friend of mine used a flex ticket for Universal and she had to sign it (at the first use) and show her ID each time she entered the park.

If your passport is your only form of Photo ID carry it with you at all times. I use an AP for WDW and have had to show my driver license any number of times (the passes sometimes will not go through the machine properly, when that happens the first thing they ask for is photo ID) so don't be caught without it.

I too have had my ID checked when my AP has become de-magantized (and that has happened a few times  )

We signed our flex tickets the first time we used them, after that we had to sign a sheet on entering the parks and they just checked the signature matched the one on the ticket.

You will definitely need ID if you are going to Discovery Cove.

Will a photocopy of the picture page of the passport be accepted?

What about the kids tickets, will they need to sign or can we sign them instead?

Trish
