if i don't purchase the hopping option does this mean once we leave the park to go back to our hotel for an hour to nap kids we can't enter that same park again later when we have well rested monsters?

You can re-enter the same park you were in. You just can't leave one park and go to another on the same day.

Even if you want to use a second day of your ticket you cannot go to another park :rolleyes: But heading back to the same park you'll be fine. Just be sure to get your hand stamped on the way out
