Hi,
I am so glad that I found this website! It will be my 3yr old twins first time in WDW. Should we go to MGM or MK? Will will only be at the park for 1 day. (which is geared more to 3 yr olds (Actually they will be turning 3 on Feb 21st-almost 3 yrs!)
Also, we are going to be there on Feb. 15-17. So it will be wednesday at one the parks. Is this a busy time, will there be lines to wait in? We happen to be staying at the Contemporary for 2 nights as well, any thoughts?
Thanks for your help:)

With children that small, I'd have to pick MK. Since your also staying at the Contemporary, it won't take any time to get there either.
Crowds should be moderate about that time. The 21st is Presidents Day and crowds are supposed to pick up then.

Thanks !
When you say "moderate crowds" what does that mean? Will I be waiting in lines all day, I just dread dealing with crowds. I am assuming that becasue it is the middle of the week and and before Presidents weekend it wont be that bad on Wed. Feb 16, What do yo think?
We were planning on going to MGM with 3 yr olds. My husband thought that their would be more for them there, namely the Playhouse Disney Show. But after speaking to numerous people and hearing your input, we will go to MK.
Thanks

There is very little to entertain small children at MGM, IMHO. MK, on the other hand, was built for children - and those who are children at heart!
MGM has a "Honey, I Shrunk..." playground, Playhouse Disney, and characters galore. But MK has Mickey's Toontown, Fantasyland (think Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, Cinderella's Carousel, etc.), and characters galore!

We were there in 2001 the week before Presdent's day (we came home on the Saturday of President's day weekend. At that time, the crowds were non-exisentent. BUT it seems like the patterns have changed a lot since then too.

Must agree with everybody, MK is a must with 3yr olds.

My family all agree, Magic Kingdom! In fact, of all the parks, MGM is probably the worst for 2/3 year olds. My son (who was 2 and 3/4s) loved MK, EPCOT and AK but there was very little to do at MGM.
Do they still do the masks at Epcot that you decorate at each different country? My son LOVED that. He dragged us all the way round the lagoon. And thats before hitting all the big name attractions.
Hmmmmm...no count down clock :(

Got to agree with everyone else Magic Kingdom. You want to go to the Fantasy Land area and Mickeys Toon Town then visit the other attractions. Get a map and plan your day as there is a lot to do, use the fast pass facilities and then go and wait in line for autographs. You can buy the autograph books in your hotel before going to the park and be sure to put your name and address in, a friends daughter lost hers and Disney mailed it to her in the UK.
