Honeymoon June 2006

Hi all, My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon to Orlando in June 2006 but nothing is booked yet! Am wondering if anybody out there can recommend a good hotel? We are looking for something fairly nice (about 4 star) and have been looking at the Crowne Plaza Universal, Rosen Plaza Hotel and the Radisson Resort Parkway. Has anybody stayed in any of these and were they any good? Also, apart from doing the usual parks, can anybody recommend any romantic days out? (well it is our honeymoon!) We are planning a day out to Daytona Beach and would like somewhere else we can visit when we need to get away from the theme parks! Any help and advice would be most appreciated!!

How many days are you spending in the area? If you are planning on visiting Disney I would either stay at one of the hotels on the property or the driving back and forth can get tiring.

You can always stay offsite for the days you are planning on visiting other Orlando attractions.

Romantic things - one that I can think of is a hot air balloon ride. My husband and I did this on our honeymoon in California. It was over the vineyards in Napa Valley. I don't like heights and was terrified but once I was up it was amazing and I would do it again in a heart beat

Thanx Cinderella, I would have never considered a hot air balloon ride, as I'm petrified of heights, but you said you were ok! We are staying in Orlando for 14 nights, and are hiring a car so we can venture off if we want to!

The hotair ballon ride wasn't my choice at all because of my fear of heights but it's the only thing that my husband asked to do, he let me plan the rest of the holiday as I wished, so I couldn't say no to it. I am so glad I did it
