Hi all. I am hoping someone can answer this question reasonably quick. My daughter & her partner are doing the Social Studies Fair in their school. They decided to do it on the history of Walt Disney World (I couldn't be prouder! :D ). So I've loaned them some "props" of things I've bought of ebay & collected throughout the years. One of the things I have is a ticket booklet from the 70's. Does anyone know what this would have cost back then? She wants to put it with our most recent ticket/room key & show the difference in a one day ticket price now of $60 compared to the book back then of
I hope someone knows at least a ballpark idea. REally appreciate it!

Does this help ticket books (http://www.justdisney.com/Features/tickets.html#anchor19631)
Funny thing is I was there during the opening year and I vaguely remember my parents talking about how expensive it was...but worth it. Even more I remember how frustrated we were with the booklets. You either had to miss something or buy more books and have a bunch of tickets left over...I wonder if they ever expire  Imagine the look you would get if you tried to use you "D" ticket today.

What a great website! That was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thanks so much dizzyknee, you came through. The project is due tomorrow morning. I'm going to take their picture with it & send it off to Disney Magazine. Who knows. Doubt they will print it but often they do kids who do projects Disney related.

BT I hope you noticed that the site is DisneyLand but still it's probably close.
Glad I could help.

ya know, I didn't even notice it was D-land! LOL I'm so observant! Oh, it did help, absolutely. She's downstairs now trying to memorize her 3 minute presentation she just found out today she had to do. UGH!

Still have some partial ticket books from Disneyland from the 50's and 60's!
In the 1970s, before switching to the passport (single ticket for all-day admission) ticket system, General Admission (no rides) was $2 per adult! We used to do that and use as many of the old tickets as we could--mostly A,B and C tickets. We were very young and very broke! :)
