I'm very close now to ringing through my PS arrangements for my first ever trip to WDW. We are going for two weeks from 15th May 2005.

I had planned to spend our second day relaxing earlier on, then to make our way to the Contemporary reosrt early evening to have a mini-tour before eating at the Calafornian Grill, aiming to eat in time to head back to the MK in time to see Spectromagic and Wishes.

This will be on the Tuesday, and based on May 2004 Spectromagic was on a Tuesday. My problem is there is no way of knowing until about 60 days out which night Spectromagic will be on, and by this time the time-slot I want at the Calafornian Grill will most definately by taken

I put Calafornian Grill and Spectomagic near the top of my list of "MUST DOs", and since we are relying on Dinsey Transport I aimed to couple these together.

Is it possible to make a couple of PS and only keep one of them? Does this annoy staff at WDW? Even if I booked two PS there's no way to guarantee one of them would fall on a day that Spectromagic falls

Am i getting too wound up over nothing

We booked our PS for Cali Grill based on the previous years park hours too. When the actual hours came out, we just called back and altered it to coincide with the fireworks, we got the time slot we wanted with no problem. If you do hold 2 PS's, just make sure you cancel as soon as you find out the hours, then someone else can take the PS. Can't see the harm in that
