I remember reading last year somewhere about Mickey statues which were designed by famous people (ex: Elton John did one) and that the statues were touring and were going to be auctioned off at the end. Does anyone know the tour schedule & when the auction date & place is? I'd love to see them in person.
Thanks for your help!

I believe they are currently in Disneyland (for a few more days).
They will be coming to the Ronald Reagon Trade Center building in Washington DC March 19th-April 30th.
Any chance you could go to either place?

I saw them at Disney last February. They're awesome. Ben Afflack's is my favorite :D

Larua,
Do you have children that are between the ages of 3 and 6? Is there anyway you could come down through the Monday after Easter? :D The White House Easter Egg Roll occurs the Monday after Easter.
Here is a link to last year's info (http://www.whitehouse.gov/easter/2004/)

The Statues really are neat! Well worth a jaunt to DC if it is at all possible for you. I spent hours looking at them. There were so many the time just seemed to slip away. Never thought of Mickey in so many different guises!

They reminded me of the cow-statues they had here in PA, and one of the cows heads got sawed off.
I am not sure of their schedule. :(
