The other day I found a website that has ranks (like 1-10) the parks on a "how crowded" scale for every day of the year.

Anyone know what I'm talking about, or did I dream this up?
Thanks

I would never trust something daily like that. A general season thing, yes. I say that because as a FL Resident I go to Disney often. I can tell you that I was there in September 01 (just after 9/11), Sept. 02 and Sept. 03 and each year it got busier and busier. Same for May. Tourism is back up (finally) so I don't know how much I would trust a chart like that. What time period are they using? is it an average of several years?

Thanks Chris
We're trying to plan a trip in early 2006, either Jan or Feb (our dates are pretty flexible). Really just wanted to know when it starts picking up for Presidents Day. Since it falls on a Monday, and I think value dates usually end the Wed before, when do you start noticing an increase in the crowds? Maybe the Sat before Pres. Day?

Thanks

I'll pm you the link, HL. Its actually the Unofficial Guide to WDW's authors' website AND they've recently up-dated to take into account all the new EMHs (mornings and evenings). :)

To answer your question, with any holiday you can generally expect the capacity build the weekend before the holiday, increase for the holiday and then taper off to the next weekend.

Christmas is a stunning exception to this generality. The week (or partial week ) before Christmas sees the capacity begin to build, with Christmas being a true wall to wall scene with the week between Christmas and New Year's seriously busy!

January is typically quite slow, as is most of February. Keep an eye out for Spring Breaks that can start as early as Februrary, but that is pretty rare.

Some schools in the northeast get a week off in February. I know sme schools in Massachusetts still do :)

Yep, there are the few that still do the "mid winter break" thing, a holdover from the first energy crisis.

I only get 4 days off in Feb, that's my vacation. :(

We always wanted the occasional "sunshine" day off from school! Other parts of the country had "snow" days, but we just went to school all year! :(

Many of us played hooky for that first beach day of spring! :)

Yes NY gets a week off usually right in the middle of Feb. This year we have 19-27. I didn't realize that the whole country didn't do this.

You don`t have to look much further than this site for an estimate on attendance levels.
Try this link (http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/when.html)
Hope it is what you are looking for.
