I was checking out the Disney site and saw that they only list 3 shows on the 7 day western cruise where as the 7 day eastern cruise has a show every night.
Has anyone taken the 7 day western, and know if this is true?

There are 5 shows on the Disney Magic 7-Night Western Cruise. This is the list from the Disney Cruise Line website.
Also, check-out my trip report from our 7-Night Western Cruise here (http://www.wdisneyw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26984) and my photos here (http://disneycruise.disneyguest.com/magic/). There are more links on my signature.

Oh thanks SM. I guess I misinterperted the info @ the Disney site. I thought that the Magic did the eastern cruises while the wonder did the western cruises. So when I saw only 3 shows on the Wonder I jumped to the wrong conclusion. So now I am guessing that the Wonder does the 3 and 4 night land and sea trips. Is that right?

Yeap, the Disney Wonder does the 3 and 4 night cruises and are the first options for the Land and Sea packages.
The Disney Magic does the 7 night itineraties, one week the eastern and the next week the western  .

Diz, if it's any help, Disney is rolling through an upgrade of the Disney Cruise Line site and trying to add more 'meat' to it. It's an imperfect science.
when are you going? I would so love to do the Western. Did you see the Costa May cruise with the two Castaway Cay days, too?? Yummy!
