I just wanted to make sure that I could purchase AP tickets at the Disney store at MCO.

And if so, are they vouchers or actual tickets? Thanks :D

It's a voucher that you turn in at the gate, Doc.
And yes you can get one there.

AP, eh? Planning more visits?
Good for you!

Nope actually the Disney store at MCO sells AP tickets not just vouchers (or they did as last as last december)... (although it takes them an eternity to actually work out how to do it :)

Took a while then huh, Keith.

Sort of JD, just staying longer. Hopefully 11 nights. :)

First time it took an hour for 2 APs.... no one knew how to do it *AT ALL*.... When we got downstairs to baggage claim, ours were the only bags left.

Second time the store had moved I think to where it is now and I figured after a year had passed, they'd have learnt how to do them ;-) 1hr later we ended up with 2 APs although mine just has my surname on the back rather than both names that it should have... making it hard to login to the AP site etc. Helen's is fine though.

It's convenient but they really don't seem to be too fast bless them <G>

I wonder if Quicksilver will want to wait that long just to get two APs. :) Maybe I should just order them online and get the vouchers.

I bought my first one at the Disney Store at my local mall (voucher) took me all of 3 minutes at the window of MK to change it over

I think I'd go with ordering the voucher and picking up your AP at DTD or one of the parks. It took a good 20 minutes to get my AP at the Earport store at MCO--and that is only because someone actually coached the person attempting to produce my AP! I would hate to think what would happen when no one is there who knows what to do!

I just called Disney and they said that I could actually buy the AP at the resort. Now I never thought that you could do that. Very strange, anyone else been told this?

well things change from time to time and I've always thought it was strange that they didn't sell aps at resorts (but I guess they'd rather sell the park hoppers for near enough the same price if they cant)

One thing to remember though.. even if you get AP rates, its unlikely (in my experience) that you'd be asked for the AP on checkin. You can easily go to downtown disney or guest services at the park and get one and if you DO need it for the resort, go back and show them.

We picked up AP's our first day in the parks last June. We went to Epcot just before nine and had the passes in less than five minutes. It was much quicker than I anticipated.
