I've been seeing the commercial for the 6 night/7 day for $1,500.00 . That price is quoted for a family of four . My question is what would the price be for DH and I only, in May at Pop Century . I do understand that the park tickets are not hoppers and do expire . How many days are included in those passes for that amount of days ? And do they have to be used consecutively , like the length of stay tickets ? Can you stay an extra couple of days with the package deal ? The reason I ask is that we would like to stay a few extra days , to resort hop , swim and possibly do Universal .

Hi Tinker: okay lets try this again, Magic your way is just that, no really deal, except the new transportation from and to the airport that they are starting in May 05. Your best bet is to go to the Disney site and click on tha Magic your way icon, which will take you to the quess what, their normal reservation site, put in your dates and get your room rate and later look up the ticket prices, depends on how you want to use them for the cost. No real deals as of yet, if you just book your room, when the room discount codes come out which I hope is soon, cause I do not like to pay $123. a night for a room when I am the only one in it, sorry I am very cheap. Any how book your room only and you can call with the code when it comes out to get the room discount. Give it a little while, days and call and order your tickets seperately. If you do a package they will not give you the room discounts. Not sure when you plan on going in May but I will be there from May 28th to June 3rd. 2005. If flighing you may want to get your airfare now, for prices have gone up alot since I got my airfare which was at $109. round trip to MCO. Also airfare prices go way down after 1am in the morning and go back up during normal day hours, just a hint and as for Disney room that is about the same too, you may not be able to fine the room you are looking for during the day but try it after midnight and boom there they are. good luck

Tinker - the ad you are seeing is for 2 adults, one junior (age 10-17) and one child (age 3-9) during value season at a value resort for 6 nights with a 7 day base ticket (no park hopping, plus pack, and expire)

WOW. That is a great price. Are you flying out of Allentown? I had found a price of 139 round trip from Allentown, but didn't book before the price went back up. Also a good tip on the after 1 am thing . That 139 that I found may have been that late. Thanks for the tip. Welcome to the boards. As Tinker told you, I am from Bethlehem. If you ever notice any good prices like that again let me know. With a price like that I could easily talk DH into even just a weekend!!!

Hello all, a bit further west then some of you but still close. :D I booked my flights through Disney just to make sure I have a flight for now I have been keeping an eye out for anything cheaper though, would love to know if anyone finds anything as well. Flying out of Harrisburg, usually BWI is cheaper for me, but it was a long drive home last year at midnight with some very tired kids. Thought we would stay closer to home this year.Would also love to meet some of you so count me in if your planning a UOG meet.

Yeah, I am flying out of Allentown on this one thru Delta, I have not used them in a long time but for the price, why not! Did you know that you can catch a shuttle to Newark from ABE and get the non-stops flights? I have been doing that with Continental for years. As for a UOG meet I would love it, but when, will have to figure out dates, look for air, etc. and someone can share a room if they want I am always on my own...I usually try to do another trip after Thanksgiving into December. But I am game if I have enough time to let the State know when I will be closing my home daycare, I have to get my dates in before July 1 of each year, so everyone think!!!

I've never ever heard about the shuttle service and I loved Delta Song out of Newark , when I went in Nov/Dec , but my DH chaffeured me . We took notice how much hiher the economy parking is in Newark than Allentown . How do you book the shuttle service and is there a fee ? Thanks for the great and helpful info . :D And if you hear of any great fares like the one you got out of Allentown , I'm all ears . with going to school and working full time , I don't get alot of time to look around . Thanks Again

The shuttle is thru Continental, so you have to call them and ask about the shuttle from ABE to Newark, I believe the cost is $25 round trip....not sure because it was always included in my total. But I do know that the others on the shuttle where all not flying the same airline carriers. Also www.Bestfares.com (http://www.Bestfares.com) is having a huge two day sale so the newsletter says, so you may want to check it out too.

wow, to think that we have a nice little group in the area, we will have to see how we all can get together, I know that there is a Disney meet that was mentioned in the Allears newsletter that I just received, and if you go to this site I get a newsletter about this meeting in Allentown in July 05 http://www.dismeets.com/ they are going to have a special surprizse, maybe mickey himself?? and what I last heard they are now going to have prizes, really good ones but they will not disclose what they are??? maybe free trips or discounts, who knows.....I was thinking of going, anyone else in the area going?? The guest speakers are really great, they are listed on the information sheet, you can also sign up to get the newsletter for the disney meet, they will keep you updated with everything that is going on......

I was just checking out the Continental site and wish to thank you , miss disney . I found a price of $178.00 round trip , shuttle service to Newark and the plane flies back into Allentown . Now , I just have to keep my fingers crossed that the price will stay around the same price till next week .

Tinker, glad to help, just make sure that the flight back is to Allentown, I have never seen one that flew right into ABE, I know it goes back to Newark and then the shuttle takes to back to ABE. As for the price, do you know a travel agent really well, I use to but she is no longer in the area, but she use to hold the airfare for me (sometimes for two weeks) longer than the normal 24 hours the aircarrier can give you. When you are in the Continental site you can go thru the process and check out the seating, (it is before you get to the part that you need to pay) and see how many seats are left, etc.

Hey Tinker, figured out that your home flight would not be a non-stop, that is how you are getting to ABE, my mind is going, working all day with the children and then school at night, can not wait till the semester is over, just in time for my trip in May, I am going to need it. Then on to summer classes, LOL...now you know why I run to Disney all the time.
