Maybe someone can give me a creative idea, it can be disney themed or not but I need to think of an idea for my daughters party. Her kindergarten class is having a celebration that they have been in school for 100 days. The teacher has asked them to bring in a collection of 100 of something.
Her teacher sewed 100 buttons on her daughters sweater when she was in school. I love this idea and am looking for a neat idea like that for my daughter to take. However, I don't want to be a copycat. The teacher is looking for something creative yet simple. So any idea's are appreciated!

100 shells from the beach ( don't know if you are by a coastline  )

or rocks from the garden or leaves from different trees?

How long do you have to get this collection together bambi?

I like your idea Chris/Lisa but I am in the crafty mood and thought it would be fun for us to work on a project together.
As a matter of fact,my daughter wanted to bring in her pony collection which is only about 50. I would have to go out and buy her 50 more, I told her sorry but we are not purchasing 50 pony's:nono:

Till the 25th so I need to get to work on it ASAP. The teacher just sent the notice home yesterday in her bag. Otherwise, I would have started it sooner. It doesn't even have to be crafty, it could just be a collection like chris/lisa mentioned. I just felt like doing something fun and something for her to always keep for memories.

100 and Disney makes me think of the 100 Acre woods!
Do a search on Google for 100 Acre Wood crafts.
There are tons of inexpensive ideas.
This one was my favorite.

Get an empty soda bottle, half fill it with bone dry sand then put 100 small items in the bottle. Things like a penny, a bead, a shell. Then glue the lid on to the bottle and shake it all up well. Then take it to school and get everyone looking for the 100 things hidden in the sand.

pictures of 100 year old women or men.

Book about 100 years of Disneymagic.

Dress you daughter as Sleeping Beauty because Sleeping Beauty slept for hundred years (in the non Disney version of the story).

Dawn that is such a good idea!

Since your daughter loves ponies, why don't you get her a stuffed one, and have 100 people sign it!

Or you could make a Disney tapestry with 100 characters.

I read off everyones idea's to dd and she chose luvalab's idea. A pony with 100 signatures on it. I did an on line search and found for $12.00 this pony (picture below) Its really cute and what a coincidence the store that had it on line was located only about an hour away. Yesterday, we went and picked it up. We already have 7 signatures, amongst ballet, tap class, neighbors and friends (forgery:lol: ) kidding about that one we should have all the signatures done by Friday. Thanks again everyone for your wonderful ideas. Oh and the stuffed pony has become her favorite toy she even slept with it last night :)

The pony is so cute.Remember to put the year on it, so when it comes time for her to help her child with a 100 day project, she can go to her hope chest and show her little one what hers was.

Oh...I was thinking....1 large sequin with 2 small sequins make a Mickey Head! You could fabric glue them all over a t-shirt....one hundred Mickey Mouses in rainbow colors!
