When DH and I went to PI, we went only to the Comedy Warehouse....didn't think we were dressed enough to go into other places there as we were in our clothes we had on at the park beforehand.

I would however, love to try the Jazz Company :) Anyone been here? Is it an ongoing show all evening? Do they have a dress code? Once inside, do you sit at a table (cosy table for two perhaps!)
I will welcome any opinions on how good/bad this place is :thanks:

I haven't been to the Jazz Company but I can tell you that there isn't a dress code at PI :D

No, there isn't a dress code . And if you want a great show and comedy try The Adventurer's Club , also goes on all night . Kungaloosh ! :kunga:

I did the Jazz club a couple of years ago on a girls only trip and it's very laid back in there. They have larger tables and I do seem to remember some cozy tables for two also. The inside is just what you'd expect a jazz club to be like, sort of dark and well, jazzy. The musicians play in sets which means they perform for around 45 minutes to an hour and then take a break and then come back and play some more. I like jazz music and it was a wonderful way to just sit and relax for a couple of hours after spending the day running around the parks.

Thanks for the replies
Tinker......I am too shy to go step over the doorstep of the Adventurer's Club. I have heard about them getting people up out of the audience and, seeing as the audience isn't that big, don't want to risk it

Breeze.....sounds good to me. Was looking for something just to fill in an hour or so.

JM.......Can you go straight from the parks or, would it be better to nip back and change into something a tad smarter so I didn't feel out of place?

My only experience at PI was last December, and clothing was everthing from just from the parks to somewhat dressy. Really depends on what you like and your plans for the evening. I wear the same clothing on holiday as I do most days at home, which tends to be business casual. That's my comfort zone! :)

Isafari, AC really is fun! I'm pretty reserved and thoroughly enjoyed it--and even was picked on a tiny bit. They seem to tune in to those who enjoy the interaction--and that included many of the UOGers!--with the occasional gentle poke at those who are less comfortable with the attention.

We went straight from the park in shorts and T-shirts. I guess it depends on how much you need a shower

Isn't the Jazz club being turned into the Irish pub or am I getting confuddled? :nutty:

I think it is that building Diane, unless there's more than one jazz place? You can read about it here (http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/news92.html) :)

Sorry Diane, but I just got off the phone with a friend who was standing on PI as we talked and the Jazz club is closed :(

Thought I remembered reading something about The Jazz Co. closing, but couldn't remember where or when! Probably should have activated my fingers, but kept them quiet for once!
