Polaroid

I read on this website that a polaroid can be very handy when meeting characters. But in the Netherlands is almost impossible to buy a polaroid camera or to buy any refills. (we can buy a polaroid camera secondhand though)

Shall we able to buy any refills or even a polaroidcamera at the airport or in one of the stores in the neighbourhood (if they are open after 8 pm when we arrive)?
And if so, how much do refills cost? We were thinking of buying an I-zone or burrow an old polaroid camera from my dad.

I don't know how close to WDW, but you should be able to buy a Polaroid camera with film refills at Walmart.

I haven't a clue how much they will be. Years ago (ten or so) I had one and the refills then were like eight or ten dollars. I don't honestly remember.

Refills look pretty expencive, if you can't get any cheap you might just wana stick with the good old digital camera ;)

i myself wouldnt bother buying a polaroid ..........films are way to expensive just buy yourself a really good digital camera with lcd screen and you'll be able to see wether the photos were good straight away anyway .........i couldnt live without my camera now and class it as part of my family lol

we have a digital photocamera too, but I thought it would be nice for my son (2 years old, nearly 3 when we'll be in WDW) to make polaroid pics so he can see directly wat kind of chars he'd been on a photo with and maybe getting their autographs on it. Or stick the photo's next to the autographs.

i was gonna say would be too :cool: to get the characters to sign them i'd get one just for that :D
