Change of plans

With the possibility of having to do away with my current plans to return in Sept./Oct., I was wondering how busy the parks are the last week of April or early May, I really enjoy the quiet times of the year, but I am not sure I want to wait a whole year and a half to return if I have to change my plans. :(

My last trip was the last week of April, first in May. I never go at the busy times of year, hate crowds, but the attendance levels at this time were fine. There was also the bonus if it coinciding with the EPCOT garden and flower festival which was beautiful, and added a little extra to my trip. I'd say go for it! :thumbs:

I went at the end of May, which is supposed to get busy. It honetly wasn't bad at all, however, my sister and I waited about an hour to go on Peter Pan, (this was about 1PM),but other than that we waited maybe a half an hour the longest about twice. I agree the Flower and Garden Festival was beautiful, and definitley added to the magic!

We will be there the last week of April/First week of May. I'm hoping they are right about the lines and I'm hoping we make it before bug season. I'm also thinking it should be a great weather time of year.

One of our best trips was in May 2000. We had fantastic weather and I don't remember queues being too long and to me, too long is more than 15 minutes :D

We love going in May Last year we went for the last 3 weeks and the weather was perfect, and the crowds were fine until the end of the last week as that weekend was memorial day so a lot of people were holidaying. Early in the holiday we practically walked on to everything (with the help of a fastpass here and there). This year we are going last 2 weeks of April. In May the only bigs were the love bugs which are very annoying and huge but harmless.
