I am in the process of planning a trip for my family. 2 Adults and 3 children ages 6, 6 and 2 (almost 3).
So after searching and searching we have decided the best thing for us is 2 rooms at ASM. Does anyone know if they have adjoining rooms there? If they aren't adjoining this just won't work.
OK...next I REALLY want to get then into Cinderella's Royal Table, but heard it books fast. What is the best way to get a reservation?
What other things are must see's for three little girls first trip?
What are the chances that there will be some good deals on Mod prices resorts closer to the date? We would still need 2 rooms though. What's my best course of action? Book my ASM rooms and if there are specials cancel and rebook?
Best way to book...online? By phone? Through an agent?
Guess that's it for now. Thanks so much.

I can help you with the first question. They do have adjoining rooms at ASM - we had them. Think you need to specify connecting rooms when booking though - but they definitely do have them.

Welcome, DopeyMom!
The best way to do this will be to break down your list of questions and post in the relevant forum. That way you'll get more answers specifically for those questions.
If you want the rooms to have a door between them that opens you need to ask for connecting. Adjoining will only get you one next door.

Hi
We recently stayed at the Fort Wilderness cabins as they were very reasonable for accommodation onsite with 3 kids. We also had a kitchen that way.
The price might have been more comparable to 2 rooms at All Stars as we had an AP rate applied for our stay. I don't know when you are travelling but there is historical AP rate information available, so you could try to weigh up the possibility of another one being offered for our travel dates.
We used an online TA who booked for us and then applied the discount later when it was announced. The cabins were lovely and I would definitely stay there again (if I can ever raise the money for the flights from the UK!).
Hope that doesn't confuse things more for you.

For Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast... you must start calling at exactly 7 am Eastern time. I actually reccomend a minute or two before in case your clock is off by a little.
Then hang up and keep calling back. We actually had two phones going and managed to get in. One stayed on hold while the other kept calling. I think the one on hold actually got in first.
That's what I did the first time.
The second time was just after they had changed the dates for calling. Not a lot of people knew about it at that time. I forgot that morning, and I called about 10 am Eastern time and got in.
Remember you must put a deposit down with a credit card.
Good luck!!
If you don't get a PS, call back and ask about cancellations, you never know.

Call exactly 90 days before the date you want, at 7am (Florida Time). Like mentioned try and do it a couple of mins earlier and keep trying til you get through! We did this before and got through and got a PS for the date we wanted :)

Try and see Share a Dream Come True (parade in MK), Spectromagic (night time parade in MK), Wishes (Fireworks in MK), Disney Stars and Motor Cars (parade in MGM), Fantasmic (night time show in MGM), Mickey's Jungle Jamming Parade (parade in AK).
Also try and meet all thier favourite characters... take a look at this link to plan that out more http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/characters.html, also if you grab a leaflet at the begining of each day in the park you're at, they have some info about when and where some character will be for greetings.
Take a look at http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/parks.html and have a look through all the rides and attractions together and make a "must do" list... I think this differs with each party!

If you're looking to change bookings around and apply discounts etc, it might be better to go with an agent.... we've never done the discount thing and are looking to do it on our next trip, but were a bit nervous about doing it all on our own. So we asked Mickeymac (this board's TA, along with Cinderella) to help and she has been amazing!!! So so so very helpful! However if you're confident in getting it all done, I'm sure phoning up or booking online is great!
Hope that helps :ears:

One thing to remember - ajoining and connecting rooms are two different things. Be sure you request Connecting rooms :D
Depending on if you're going to have an AP or not (where the majority of discounts lay) you may want to go with the two value rooms. You could get one room at POR though, in the Bayou section with a trundle bed.
