We'll be going to Disney World on July 30 through August 6, 2005 and staying @ the Grand Floridian. I'd like to plan my days according the early openings/late closings. Does anyone know when or how I can find out the early opening/late closing schedules for the parks for that time?
Thanks for you help in advance.

Here (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/calendar/parkhours/index?id=MKCalendarParkHoursMonthlyViewPage) you will find the schedules for all Disney parks. Just choose the park from the dropdown menu and advance to the month you are interested in.

Thank you, SorcererMickey. It looks like the dates I'm interested in won't become available until 4 months prior to our arrival date. I'll keep checking the calendar. I appreciate your help.

Great...another GF visitor , and a warm :welcome: to the site.
Have you stayed there before? If so, you already know what a fabulous resort it is.
Don`t forget though, that we will all expect a trip report from you! :)

July hours should be out around the first week in May. August hours, the first week in June.
If you want an idea. Look at the hours for July/August 2004. Times do change from year to year but not much. It'll give you somewhere to start.

Hi Slowhand. Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, we stayed at the GF in 2002 when we did 3days land/4days sea. What an incredible resort! In 1996 we stayed at the Polynesian. Another wonderful resort. But I have to say it's difficult to want to stay anywhere else now.
I'll be glad to share our experience with everyone when we return. But you'll be hearing from me again while I continue to plan the trip.
Any first timers to Disney World out there...you'll have a wonderful time. You won't be able to stop the fun. :wiggle:

In 1996 we stayed at the Polynesian. Another wonderful resort. But I have to say it's difficult to want to stay anywhere else now.
That was our problem also Connie. Having stayed at the GF as our first truly on site resort, we find that we are forever comparing it to anywhere else.
Maybe we should have done things different and worked our way up!
