Birthday Cake

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a Sleeping Beauty birthday cake?

A simple one...

Bake a square or rectangle.... use green frosting(or whatever it is called) to simulate grass, and buy a small Sleeping Beauty plastic doll... I think you can get one not too expensive from the Disney Store... look in the keychain section, they usually have character keychains...

You can also put small edible flowers and such....

and just decorate it to make look like SB?

An easy solution is to make a couple of regular 8" or 9" rounds, and a third small round or custard cup size. These three pieces will stack to make the bottom of her dress (after you trim it into a bell shape), then you take a SB doll (that you inevitably already have) and stick her into the cake. The biggest problem is finding a shirt or top that can be sacrificed b/c it is going to get icing on it. Good Luck

So that's what it would look like. I had a picture in my mind of the doll laying down and the dress/gown made that way. Thanks dizzyknee for the info, I'm sure others will find it very helpful. :thumbs:

If you bought small dolls, you could make individual cupcake sized princesses! Then each girl could take home a doll!
