Hi
Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I would like to buy a black&white picture of Cinderella's castle. I would like a really nice classic picture probably sized 10x8 to then frame and put on our wall. I've looked on the internet and couldnt find anything and dont remember seeing anything in disney itself... can anyone help.....
thanks.............

Hi Pluto -
I took a pretty good one of the Castle in B&W with my digital camera. I don't know how it would look blown up, though. I really enjoyed taking the B&W photos at WDW. It is such a colorful place, you don't think about it in B&W, but they all came out great.
I've always been surprised they don't sell nice framed photos of the parks at WDW!

I also have several great castle pics, but I have never seen any for sale. maybee a Disney copyright issue? I think Disney dosent mind people taking pictures as long as people don't try to profit from the pictures. One of my castle pics below, in color

Wow that picture is lovely... maybe I will have to take lots of photos when i go this year and then try and blow them up into B&W and see how it comes out... I just love to frame a nice picture. We have one from the NewYork skyline which we love and would like one of the castle... Our two favourite vacations...

:iagree: That picture is LOVELY!!! Do you mind me asking where it was snapped poohbaby, if you recall?
And Pluto, what a great idea to take you own photo of the castle on your next visit, I'm sure it will turn out beautifully, and just think how much more "special" it will be for your family to know that it was taken by you!!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. This picture was taken from the bridge between Liberty Square and Fantasy Land. I rushed back there from across the park around sunset to take this picture, fighting the crowd was worth it, what memories! Pluto I don't mind at all if you use this for you desktop, actually I'll give you a link to a larger version of this pic http://www.pbase.com/catson/image/37906026
as for your camera, 4 MP should be fine for up to a
11 x 14. Just make sure your ISO setting is to low or 100.

That is one of the best photos that I have seen of the castle. A different angle than the normal one and the sunset just sets it off. brilliant.

Thought I'd throw this picture out there that I took at night once. This is before I got into Photography real big, and it was just taking with a point and shoot with no tripod. I hope to get some better ones in May. It's still one of my favorite pictures though.

It blew up nicely to 8x10. If anybody wants to use it for something, just PM me or something, and I'll remove the copyright for you.

Oh wow Phoohbaby2 that is the most beautiful picture I've ever seen.
Are you a photographer or is it just a hobby? Outstanding!!
We have a print from GF hanging in our dining room. It was a print that was in our room when we stayed for our honeymoon. We found it for sale in the gift shop there and had it mailed to us. It is a victorian wedding with the GF in the distance. Makes me think of our trip when I look at it.
I'm going to look for a print this time to hang in our daughter's room. We just redid it in Princess Pink.

You could probably put it into paint shop pro or photoshop and change it into black and white. :)
