Has anyone been to Cirque du Soleil before? What is it like? Is it really worth all the money?
We are writing a list of things we want or next trip to do and CDS or Cirque du Soleil was one of them. The only thing that is that its really expensive for Catagory 1 seats and we will only have 1 child traveling with us. It seems really cool and fun so if you have any information about CDS please share.

I would certainly recommend seeing Cirque de Soleil.
The tickets may appear to be a bit pricey, but it is a show unlike anything I`ve seen before, and the acts are so professional.
Well worth a visit.
Have you seen this link (http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/cirque.html) from elsewhere on the site? It has loads of info about the attraction.

The category 2 seats are a bit cheaper and I thought they had a better view.
It was an EXCELLENT show!! I had been really hesitant to go b/c of the price but it was worth every penny.

Dawn and I went to see the Cirque du Soleil during our 2001 trip to WDW. Truly amazing, and worth every dollar to experience.
Not too sure how very young children would cope with it, because it is a long show, and may be a little bit too quirky for them - but then again, I may be wrong about that :)

Our DD was 6 when we took her to see Cirque. She sat stone still and silent (so did my DH for that matter). She was so amazed by it, she was afraid to turn her head as she might miss something!
Don't let the price worry you. Like others have said, it is worth every penny!!! Go! Enjoy!!

Haven't seen Cirque du Soleil at WDW yet, but have seen three of the Cirque shows in Las Vegas (one is adult, the other two general audience) several times, plus one touring show. All are fantastic and there are no bad seats in the dedicated theatres. I agree with Johnie that, for me at least, the less expensive seats provided a better experience.
Think of Cirque as a multi-ring circus (not the animal act variety) that uses vertical and horizontal space very creatively. Definitely recommend it.
The general audiences in Las Vegas included children as young as 3 or 4, but it depends on the child. Some do well sitting for extended periods, others don't. You know yours best! :)

I highly recommend seeing the show. We were skeptical before we went and really only went because we received the tickets as a gift for our honeymoon. It was fantastic and expect to be amazed! Have fun!

I haven't seen their show at WDW but I've seen them 3 times in Las Vegas and several times when they've been to London, and they are just AMAZING. Go!!

Thanks guys, we are seriously thinking about going. Sounds like fun. Our youngest child is 10 so he will be able to sit still. I will let you guys know if we end up going. :D
