I've read about the noisy rooms on Deck 2 but so far the noise seems like a non issue. Anyone ever stayed in Stateroom 2011? Wondering if there's noise from the Back Street lounge overhead. Thanks to all.

Sorry, LBCAToFL. We haven't done our cruise yet, so I'm not familiar with what rooms to avoid. Hopefully someone will come along who knows more about it.

Hmmm, never noticed or remember reading anything about it, but by comparing the locations of room 2011 and the club area on Deck 3, I would say that there is a good chance for some noise intrusion...

I am new to cruising also I take my first cruise in April. I did look at my passporter cruise guide for you and this is what I found....not sure if I have the right category for you. Are you going to be in Category 12? IF so this is what I found.......
Category 12 staterooms (all 13 of them) are on deck 2 forward. While the staterooms are closer to the elevators and stairs are convenient, they are also noiser given they are directly below Beat Street/Route 66. My passporter guide does suggest requesting another stateroom for less noise.

Some staterooms are also to be avoided due to being next to the laundry rooms. I couldn't find anything saying your stateroom would be next to one. Hope you can figure everything out and have a wonderful cruise. When do you go?

Thanks to all who responded. We leave on 3/26 for the Western Cab. Our 1st Disney cruise and looking forward to it. I gambled with the room and was hoping for an upgrade. With only 12 rooms in this category, I was hoping for the best. According to one of the other message boards, the noise is overrated.
