Please clear up some confusion between MYW tickets and Park Hoppers.
If I buy a 5 Day MYW ticket, does that mean I only can pick 1 park and can go there for 5 days or does it mean I can go to any park each day for 5 days. (but not 2 parks in the same day) The reason I am confused is a 5 day MYW ticket cost $193 while a 4day park hopper cost$ 220. My family is going to each of the 4 parks, but on 1 day we would like to go back to MK later in the day. So can we use one of the 5 day MYW ticket on the same day we go to 2 parks.

You can go to any of the main Disney parks for a total of 5 days. You can't park hop (which is why it's cheaper I beleive) unless you pay to add it on. The tickets will also expire 14 days after first use (unless you pay to add on no expiration). Does that make sense?

I understand you can't "hop", but can you use the 5th day on any other day? So I am actually only going 4 days but want to use the 5th day ticket on a second park say on Day 3.

From what I understand (and I could be wrong), you can't use go to 2 different parks on 1 day unless you have the park hopping feature on the ticket.

Thanks your probably right, the 7 MYW ticket is less than the 3 hopper price. If you could use it to go to 2 parks aday and still have 1 day left their would be no reason to buy a hopper ticket

I was confused by this too and this is what I found...

No, guests who purchase the Magic Your Way Base Ticket will not be able to use additional base days to visit multiple theme parks on the same day. Only one theme park visit can be used per day.

I don't really understand why they won't allow this b/c once you've paid the money why do they care when or how you use them?

I know, that doesn't make any sense to me either.

like it's been said no one would bother paying for a hopper ticket if you were allowed to go to two different parks. Its called Disney making every dollar/pound they can from you. It does make you have to think alot more about what suits your needs. which is ok for the seasoned disney visitor but I do feel a little for the first time visitor

I spoke to Disney . you may go to more than one park a day but they will take another day from your ticket. It is less money to do the hopper option.

ebud that is the exact opposite of what I was told by a cast member last week while I was chatting (I have an AP, I was just asking some MYW questions). If you do not have the hopper option you cannot visit more than one park in one day

EBUD that is cleary not what it says in the small print I have read. I'm worried about who has given you that information. Your ticket will not work in two different parks on the same day if it is not a hopper ticket

Is their any way we could clear this up . it should be one policy not what customer service agent you talk to.

I agree but Disney CM's are notorious for giving conflicting info.

I also overheard at the park gates a guest being told he could not go into a different park b/c he did NOT have the park hopper feature.

What is included in the Magic Your Way Base Ticket?
The Magic Your Way Base Ticket is the base ticket for Walt Disney World and includes one theme park admission per day for the number of days on the ticket, and expires 14 days from first use. It does not include park hopping or admission to other gated attractions, like Disney’s water parks or Pleasure Island. Only one theme park admission may be used per day.

This above is taken from another Disney site
which was taken from Disney and it clearly says only one themepark admission per day

Hope that clears it up

Here's a link to the FAQ (http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/mywfaq.html) that I read said you can not use two base days on the same day.
