I didn't know this and I've been an AA member for years. Fantastic news. Many thanks. How do I find out what discounts are available for AA members. Well done for the information. :)

You can use it anywhere you see the AAA symbol Helen. We used ours at all the shops in Universal. I saved quite a lot stocking up on Dora the Explorer stuff for Christmas and I used it for buying the Mummy photo.
AAA discounts on rooms are available much further in advance than AP rates, so Cinderella will often try to find us a room on a AAA discount and then swap to the AP rate if they become available at a later date.
We got breakdown cover with our car, but we payed the lowest AA joining fee (£35 or £40 I think) just to get the discounts and it more than paid for itself.

Did anyone question the card Paula, or not seen it before?

They looked at me oddly a few times, but I get that a lot anyway  I just showed them the Universal symbol on the back (the red, white and blue one) and they accepted it no problem.

Paula, you're a star my friend. :Posy: I'm just checking the back of my card now and it has the red, white and blue symbol but within that it says Europe. Do you think I should contact AA to see if any discounts they're offering are only available in Europe. I could save a fortune this year.

That's the one Helen, just show the ARC Europe symbol.
I asked Cinderella about this because we were booked in a room under a Canadian AAA rate, but she told me it didn't matter, it's the symbol they recognise. :D
