Has anyone just returned from WDW, or does anyone usually go during March??

I have been watching the temperatures and am a little concerned because it seems quite cold:sorry: . The lows are often in single figures which is a bit of a worry. Can I expect the weather to change? Is it too cold:eek: for water parks at this time of year?

The last time I was there in March (quite a few years ago) it rained nearly the entire time, and it was quite chilly. I had taken along some shorts to wear, but never had the chance. Hopefully that isn't a typical March...

I was there last weekend (okay it was the end of February, but close enough) Friday was raining, Saturday was overcast all day and Sunday was miserable cold with rain all day

It was chilly for me (highs in the 60's) but I am a Florida weather wuss :D

Ok. Funny story about our March trip to WDW... That particular trip was a "long weekend" sort of trip and the first time John and I had ever gone there together! It was COLD and rainy. So I wore this long-sleeved, hooded sweater trying to stay warm. I was also wearing a fanny-pack with the bag portion in front rather than in back - my usual way of wearing one... However, to keep it dry, I had it underneath the sweater I was wearing.

We were at the Enchanted Tiki Room waiting to get in, and I was leaning back against the railing with my arms resting on top of the fanny pack for support. A CM came over and asked me when I was due!!!!!!! LOL I pulled up the sweater enough that she could see the fanny pack and said "Any time now!" She was so embarrassed and kept apologizing all over herself! I felt bad about teasing her that way, but I probably did look like I was "in a family way"!!

I go every year in March to Florida and the weather has always been great for me last year we went it was about 80-85 everyday rained one day but the sun came right back out afterwards, last year went a bit earlier left on about March the 12th this year leaving the 19th, i've been looking at the 10 day forecast looks like it will be around low 70's this week and next monday looks to be close to 80 so looks to be warming up a bit, and it's always been very warm enough to go swimming too, especially after being in 40 degree weather 70 even feels very warm to me.

It depends on where you're from really. You don't give your location, but if like me you're from UK/Ireland, you'll be very happy with the weather in March. :sunny: However, if you're from a hotter climate, you may find it too cold! :cold:

MIght I ask where you are seeing single digit temps in Orlando? That would indeed be very odd.

Yep, that would be cold all right! We don't have single digits, but we still get down to about the fifties, and maybe the high forties at night.

It's been a gorgeous weekend, but is supposed to rain tomorrow. March is a seriously iffy month weather wise. It can be just beautiful, warm and sunny or miserable and chilly with sheeting rain.

Water parks? If it's one of the sunny days you'll be fine.

Single digit sounds like Celsius to me! I know how to convert, but it's far too early in the morning here to even think yet!

I've noticed the low temps also and am going next week! We went at Easter a few years ago and found the early mornings were cold but once the sun got up things warmed up for us. So fingers crossed...

Im from Canada, so your March weather would probably feel hot to us. We've been sitting at around +6 celsius maybe a little higher in other parts of Alberta, so right now to us it is gorgous outside, plus it's melting our snow.
