Just when we thought we had it all figured.... we think of yet another question! :

If the discount code is valid at your check in date, but runs out half way through, so the sencond half of the stay is beyond the code dates, are you billed with a discount with for just half your stay?

Or does this work as it does with the seasons overlapping during a stay - what goes at check-in, goes for the entire stay? :shrug:

Whatever season you check in runs the entire stay. It works well if you check in during value and peak season happens half way through your stay.

On MouseSavers it says "for check-ins 4/17 to 7/4" so I think it would apply for your whole stay as long as you check in on or before the 4th.

Wouldn't it depend on if the discount rate was available for all nights? I know we couldn't get an AP rate for the whole trip in December, we had to book some nights at AAA rate and some at AP rate. I'm not sure that if your first night is available at discount it automatically applies to the rest of your stay.

I know that a rate is fixed from your arrival if you span 2 seasons and pay full room rate though. :)

Thank you... just reading my post it looks confusing :oops:

For example if the code was for check-ins from 7 July til August 26 (just random dates from the top of my head for an example!) and our stay was from 17th August til 30th August, would we only get the discount for some of our stay (I think thats how it is going by Paula's reply). But initially we thought as clio did - that the rate at check in would apply for the whole stay.

Never mind! By the looks at the codes for last year the codes stop around half way through our dates and a new one becomes avaliable right away... I hope it stays that way for next year :fingers:
