Summer Rains Have Arrived Early

Check out the 10-Day Forecast for Orlando. Usually thunderstorms like the ones expected for the next 7 days do not start until sometime in the middle or the end of April. I guess I can leave my sprinkler system turned off for another 3 weeks.

I don't "do" ponchos... I'm English, I have a mickey umbrella <G>

...but I dont trust weather.com at all. I'm still waiting for the snow back home it keeps promising me :rolleyes:

Today in Disney was fine for us... there was the usual florida shower stuff (although mostly before we got up :lol: ) but it always amazes me how quickly it dries up over here! Within minutes its as if it hadn't happened! Certainly didn't see strong storms (although I wouldnt mind some tstorms, I'm hoping to get some photos!)

Perhaps it's just coming from the UK... I'm used to close to freezing temperatures, de-icing the car in the morning then rain all day and all night... so temperatures of 70odd and an odd shower don't pose too much of a problem <G>

yeah weather.com always seems to be wrong.... bbc.co.uk weather is more acurate.... even though it may say the same.... i haven't checked
