We have used the DCL buses to get there before and when the cruises were over, we used a porter to take our bags to the parking lot from where we caught the shuttle to the car rental depot.
If you drive to the terminal and leave your car there, are there any luggage trolleys at the parking lot, or is there a guest drop off point where you can leave your luggage and fellow passengers while you park your vehicle?

From what I read in my passporter Cruise line guide book they have a curbside luggage drop off. Or you can drop it off at one of the white tents in the parking lot.
Parking is around $10 for a 24 hour period and I believe its to be paid up front.

Yes, there is a drop-off area under the terminal. Port security will direct you to the entrance of the DCL area, check your name on the manifest and direct you to go to the left side of the terminal where you drop-off your luggage. You will then be directed to drive around to the parking area.
It's $10 per day.

I'd have to throw this out there- last time we went on the DCL, we called up a limo service and had a van drive us down to PC. It cost about the same as the busses, but we had our own personal van, with seperate reclining chairs and a DVD player. They also stopped at a grocery store for us so we could run in and buy snacks to bring on the boat. Best idea, I think- no hassles, not crowded on a bus, and very luxurious.
