We are making our plans for Feb 11-19 of 2006. Is the weather decent? We have three children with us, 12, 7 and 2..
Thanks

I love February weather. There's very minimal rain fall and the days are nice and bright. You just need to come prepared for all types of temperature fluctuations. Night low tempertures can be between 30s to 40s and high temperatures can vary between 50s to 70s. It can be cold in the early morning when you enter a park around 9:00am, but the temperature can quickly rise into the 70s and feel very warm. You'll need to layer.

Goshhh I don't know what to do. I am sooo excited about going so I want earlier instead of later. But we cannot go until after the first of the year..I want it to be warm but not over hot because of the kids...Suggestions?

I went in February this year and found the Floridian weather a tad strange at that time of year...
Bear in mind that according to the forecast daytime temps varied from 60 to 75 degrees F while I was there...
Some days it was bright sunshine but really quite chilly, other days it was bright sunshine and you weren't burnt in no time at all. There were a couple of really miserable days too.
A bit of a mixed bag in my opinion, but having said that...
Apparently the fortnight before I went was absolutely sensational!!!
Pay your money and take your chance...

january february is our favourite time of the year...you can get days where jeans and a tee shirt are all you need but other days where you would need jackets as well. be prepared for all weathers....but the best bit is that the theme parks are very quiet.......no queues!!!!

So glad to read that last....we are going Jan-Feb 2006. Anything over 70 degrees is way too hot for me already...and it takes me about 20 minutes to burn....even with sunscreen I have to be very careful.
Disney is the ONLY place I wear a hat.
Can you believe I want to start the packing list already?

I was there February 12th - 26th this year. First 10 days it was between 70 and 80 every day with lots of sunshine. Last 4 days were cloudy/wet and spoke to people who were there the week before us and it had been really cold nearly all week.

We have gone a couple of times in Jan/Feb. The days were cool, but we (as with most of the people we saw) shed our sweaters or jackets by noon. Most people tied them around their waist. The nights were chilly, so keep those sweaters with you. Also, this is the time for tree pollen, so sinuses or allergies could act up. :sneeze: One January we stayed at the Fort Wilderness Trailers and awoke to our red car with a change in color to green from all the pollen.

We find feb weather ok on the whole.First year we had a heatwave, second time was colder, last year changable with nights sometimes rather chilly. The days were mainly warm and sunny with only one day of rain. But as everyone points out it is quieter with less queues, ideal.
